Do you offer same-day appointments for dental emergencies?
Yes. Cardiff Dental provides a Same Day Emergency Appointment Guarantee for pain-related dental problems. If you call us during business hours on (02) 4954 6888, we will see you the same day, or the next working day at the latest. Common emergencies we treat include severe toothache, knocked-out teeth, broken or chipped teeth, lost fillings or crowns, and broken dentures. For more information visit our dental emergency page.
Which health funds are you a preferred provider with?
Cardiff Dental is a preferred provider for NIB and HCF, which means our patients with these funds typically receive higher rebates and lower out-of-pocket costs. We also accept all other major Australian health funds and process your claim on the spot using HICAPS. If you would like to discuss your specific cover, please call us on (02) 4954 6888.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes. Cardiff Dental offers free consultations for Teeth Whitening, Veneers, Orthodontics including Invisalign, and Dental Implants. During your free consultation, Dr Reddy will assess your suitability, explain your treatment options and answer any questions you have, with no obligation to proceed. Do you treat children, and what about the CDBS?
Yes. Cardiff Dental treats patients of all ages, including children and teenagers, in a comfortable and family-friendly environment. We bulk bill for eligible children under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule, which provides up to $1,158 of dental treatment over two years per eligible child.
What can I expect on my first visit to Cardiff Dental?
Your first visit usually takes 30 to 45 minutes. Dr Reddy will discuss your dental and medical history, complete a comprehensive oral examination including any necessary X-rays, and walk you through any findings using easy-to-understand language. You will leave with a clear treatment plan and a written quote. Cardiff Dental is a locally owned family practice accredited by Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) against the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
Where is Cardiff Dental located and is parking available?
Cardiff Dental is located at 30 Veronica Street, Cardiff NSW 2285, in the Lake Macquarie region just south of Newcastle. On-site parking is available all day during our trading hours, and there is also plenty of off-street parking available. Our practice is on the ground level, making access easy for wheelchairs and prams. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, closed Saturday and Sunday.
